Former Genoa coach Alberto Gilardino revealed himself as a big admirer of his colleague Simone Inzaghi who continues to deliver the goods at Inter Milan.
The managers are coming off contrasting periods. While Inzaghi is guiding the Nerazzurri towards what appears to be a promising campaign, Gilardino was sacked by the Grifone in November. But while coaching can be cruel and unforgiving, trying your luck at an online casino for real money is a much easier way to make quick cash without enduring all the stress synonymous with football management.
Nevertheless, we can expect Gilardino to bounce back from his disappointing season and land himself a new gig. After all, the 42-year-old had found success in his previous campaigns at Genoa.
He helped the club secure promotion to Serie A in 2023. Last season, he guided the Rossoblu towards an impressive mid-table finish.
However, the management deprived him of some of his best stars in the summer. They sold Albert Gudmundsson to Fiorentina, Mateo Retegui to Atalanta and goalkeeper Josep Martinez to Inter.
To make matters even worse for the Gila, Ruslan Malinovskyi suffered a horrific leg break at the start of the campaign. Therefore, the results proved hard to come by this term, prompting the management to sack the former striker and replace him with Patrick Vieira.
So while he’s plotting for his next career move, Gilardino is keeping a close eye on the title race. After all, he can learn a lot from the managers taking part in the title race.

The former Milan and Fiorentina bomber tips Inter to prevail over Napoli and Atalanta. As he explains, the Nerazzurri have the strongest squad, as well as a top-notch manager in the shape of Inzaghi.
“I can say which teams will be on the podium,” said Gilardino in his interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport via FcInterNews.
“Antonio Conte is a perfectionist, his Napoli is deservedly first. But Inter is the strongest team. Simone Inzaghi is a pragmatic coach whom I respect a lot.
“Moreover, Atalanta will annoy both of them until the end. Gian Piero Gasperini is a real genius. Every year, he introduces some different tactical situations.”
Gilardino played alongside Simone Inzaghi’s brother Filippo during his time at AC Milan. The two strikers used to compete for a starting berth in Carlo Ancelotti’s starting lineup.
