Arsenal have highlighted Leroy Sane as one of their top transfer targets, and the prospect of picking up the silky German on a free is said to interest Mikel Arteta.

According to Sky Sports Deutschland, the Gunners are interested in a deal, especially as Sane is yet to agree a new contract with Bayern Munich, and his current deal is set to expire this summer.

Sane has been in excellent form of late, and with two goals at the weekend against St. Pauli, he is certainly making his case for a new deal with the club’s hierarchy.

Harry Kane has even come out and said how much he wants his teammate to remain at Bayern, saying he “would love for him to stay”.

Arsenal do lack some pace and direct threat on the wing, especially when one of Bukayo Saka or Gabriel Martinelli are not available.

Despite Trent Alexander-Arnold’s name being the one currently in the spotlight, it seems Liverpool are also thinking about a potential replacement for his full-back partner, Andy Robertson.

According to The Times, Liverpool are looking at Bournemouth’s Milos Kerkez, but the Cherries want £45 million for the 21-year-old, who still has three years left on his contract.

The Hungarian has eight goal involvements for Andoni Iraola’s side so far this season, and would be a brilliant replacement for the ageing Robertson.

Arsenal are preparing to open negotiations with Bukayo Saka over a new contract, according to Fabrizio Romano. The club’s new sporting director, Andrea Berta, is keen for the 23-year-old to sign a long-term deal. However, with two years still left on his current contract, there is no urgent pressure to reach an agreement.

Chelsea are unlikely to pursue a first-choice goalkeeper this summer, as Djordje Petrovic will return from his loan at Strasbourg, and Mike Penders is set to finalize his move from Genk, report The Daily Telegraph.
