Gunners to meet PSG after seeing off Real Madrid

Paris Saint-Germain stand in Arsenal’s way of reaching their second Champions League final.

OneFootball Videos

The Gunners knocked out holders Real Madrid in the quarter-finals, winning 3-0 on a memorable night in north London before a mature 2-1 win in the second leg at the Bernabeu.

Their reward is a semi-final showdown with PSG, who have already seen off two Premier League teams in Liverpool and Aston Villa.

Arsenal met PSG in the league phase when goals from Kai Havertz and Bukayo Saka sealed a 2-0 win.

But the French giants are a different side now under Luis Enrique and will provide another huge test for Mikel Arteta’s side.

Here’s everything you need to know about the semi-final...

Date, kick-off time and venue

The first leg of Arsenal vs PSG is scheduled for a 8pm BST kick-off on either April 29 or 30, 2025. The first leg will take place at the Emirates Stadium.

The second leg is scheduled for a 8pm BST kick-off on either May 6 or 7, 2025. The second leg will take place at Parc des Princes.

Arsenal vs PSG team news

The Gunners will definitely be without the injured quartet of Gabriel Jesus, Havertz, Takehiro Tomiyasu and Gabriel Magalhaes for both semi-final ties, but they could welcome back Jorginho and Riccardo Calafiori after they missed the quarter-final second leg.

Thomas Partey will have to watch on from the sidelines due to suspension.

Fabian Ruiz avoided a yellow card at Villa Park which means he will be available for selection at the Emirates. PSG had no injury concerns for the second leg and will be hopeful that remains the case by the time they arrive in north London.

Arsenal vs PSG prediction

As good as PSG have been since the turn of the year, Arsenal are the one side that have had their number this season and the 2-0 win is looking more impressive as the weeks pass by.

The French side very nearly crumbled inside a hostile atmosphere at Villa Park and if the Gunners can recreate the noise and energy on display inside the Emirates against Real Madrid, they will have every chance of taking a first leg lead to the Parc des Princes and then holding on in Paris.
