Marko Arnautovic could be in line for a starting opportunity when Inter Milan take on Udinese in Serie A on Sunday.

As reported in today’s newspaper edition of Corriere dello Sport, and via FCInterNews.it, coach Simone Inzaghi may turn to the Austria international to lead his attack at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.

Arnautovic has rediscovered his form in recent weeks to provide crucial contributions against Lazio, Fiorentina, and Monza, whilst he played the full 90 minutes for Austria against Serbia in midweek and provided an assist.

With fitness concerns over Lautaro Martinez and Mehdi Taremi, Inzaghi is ready to reward Arnautovic with a starting spot against the Zebrette.

The former Stoke City and Bologna striker is expected to partner Marcus Thuram in attack, as Inter seek a victory to maintain their place at the top of the Serie A table.

Arnautovic joined Inter on an initial loan in 2023 and has scored 12 goals in 53 appearances across all competitions.
