A head-turning statistic, highlighting the excellence of Barcelona’s frontline across the season to date, has come to the fore on Sunday evening.

As much highlights the remarkable start to the campaign being enjoyed by all of Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha, and Lamine Yamal.

Barcelona of course marked their return to action earlier today, when Hansi Flick’s troops made the trip to Mendizorroza for a La Liga meeting with Deportivo Alavés.

When all was said and done, the Blaugrana emerged on the right side of a comfortable 3-0 scoreline, to make it eight wins from nine to open the club’s domestic campaign.

En route to as much, Robert Lewandowski proved himself the star of the show, notching all three of his side’s goals. Wide-man Raphinha, meanwhile, laid on a pair of assists, too.

And such endeavours, as alluded to above, have since given rise to an altogether noteworthy statistic.

As revealed by ESPN, Lewandowski (12), Raphinha (6) and Lamine Yamal (5) have racked up more goals as a collective than any other attacking trident in Europe’s top-5 leagues.
