Brentford and Southampton had progressed against Championship sides on Tuesday night.

Preston the last non-Premier League side left in and they lost at home to Arsenal on Wednesday night.

The big news of course was Newcastle United getting revenge on Chelsea and making the last eight.

Whilst other all Premier League clashes saw Tottenham, Man U, Palace and Liverpool also make it through.

Here is the full fourth round draw and then how the bookies see the chances of Newcastle United lifting the trophy now, as well as their competitors.

Full Carabao Cup fourth round draw

Spurs v Man U

Arsenal v Palace

Newcastle United v Brentford

Southampton v Liverpool

Man City going out is a massive bonus, as well as Villa and of course Chelsea!

The general odds from various bookies on which club will win the Carabao Cup this season (in brackets the odds before the fourth round matches were played this midweek):

11/4 (5/1) Arsenal

11/4 (8/1) Liverpool

9/2 (14/1) Newcastle United

6/1 (10/1) Man U

6/1 (14/1) Spurs

20/1 (25/1) Brentford

25/1 (33/1) Palace

40/1 (33/1) Southampton

Man City had been 3/1 favourites before this round of matches, whilst Chelsea were 8/1 joint third favourites before last night.

As you can see, all change with Newcastle United now third favourites.

Only shame with the draw, was that Arsenal and Liverpool didn’t get each other. The only important thing though is that NUFC have been handed a massive opportunity and whilst Thomas Frank’s side are no mugs, no Newcastle fan can have any complaints about how Wednesday night has played out.
