Leeds United have received a big boost today after Tottenham Hotspur boss Ange Postecoglou has confirmed he is not looking to bring back Manor Solomon from his loan spell this month.
The Whites signed Solomon on loan from Spurs in the summer transfer window.
The 25-year-old has featured regularly under Daniel Farke this season. He has managed 21 appearances in the Championship, scoring five goals and providing five assists.
Solomon is expected to play a big role for the rest of the season, as Championship leader Leeds are aiming to secure automatic promotion this season after narrowly missing out in the previous campaign.
Spurs are going through an injury crisis at the moment. Postecoglou has confirmed that big-money summer signing Dominic Solanke could be out for six weeks, and Spurs are lacking depth in several key areas.
The Tottenham boss, however, has made it clear in his press conference, as relayed by Fabrizio Romano, that he is not looking to bring Solomon back.
Postecoglou gave a one-word reply – “No” – when asked if Spurs could recall Solomon.

The news will be a huge boost for the club, and Leeds fans will be delighted. It would have been a huge blow for them had Spurs recalled him back.
The 25-year-old attacking midfielder has played in multiple positions for Leeds this season. He has been mostly used as an attacking left midfielder but has also played as a right winger and as a number ten.
He has been in terrific form recently. The Israel international scored for Leeds in the 3-0 win over Sheffield Wednesday and produced one of his best performances this season against Norwich City, where he scored a goal and registered an assist.
Leeds have yet to sign a player in the January transfer window, although there is a feeling that they must add depth and quality to the side in order to avoid a repeat of last season.
The Whites have been linked with players like Emi Buendia, Morgan Whittaker, Louie Barry and Willem Geubbels, but they have not been able to land their preferred targets.
