Kerala Blasters Unveil 27-Player Squad for Kalinga Super Cup 2025

Kerala Blasters FC have officially announced their 27-player squad for the upcoming Kalinga Super Cup 2025, which will serve as the first competitive test for newly appointed Head Coach David Català.

The team has been conducting rigorous training sessions in Kochi since the conclusion of their Indian Super League (ISL) campaign. These sessions have focused on implementing Català's tactical philosophy and preparing for the tournament. The Spanish coach has utilized these weeks to evaluate his squad and establish connections with the players.

Kerala Blasters will begin their Kalinga Super Cup campaign against defending champions East Bengal FC in the tournament opener on April 20 at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar.

The squad comprises four goalkeepers: Sachin Suresh, Kamaljit Singh, Alsabith ST, and Muhammed Jaseen. The defensive unit includes Hormipam Ruivah, Bikash Yumnam, Milos Drinčić, Dušan Lagator, Naocha Singh, Aibanbha Dohling, Muhammed Saheef, and Sandeep Singh.

In midfield, Kerala Blasters will rely on Vibin Mohanan, Danish Farooq, Freddy Lallawmawma, Adrián Luna, Mohammed Azhar, Yoihenba Meitei, Ebindas Yesudasan, Korou Singh, Mohammed Aimen, and Renthlei Lalthanmawia.

The forward line features Jesús Jiménez, Kwame Peprah, Noah Sadaoui, Ishan Pandita, and Sreekuttan MS.

The Kalinga Super Cup 2025 will follow a knockout format with 16 participating teams, including 13 ISL clubs and three I-League clubs. All matches will take place at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar between April 20 and May 3.

This tournament represents the first opportunity for fans to see how Kerala Blasters perform under Català's guidance after his recent appointment as head coach.
