The top-flight official has refereed two Celtic matches this season. Scott was the whistler for Brendan Rodgers’ side thumping 5-2 victory over Falkirk in the Premier Sports League Cup quarter-final at Celtic Park in September.
Most recently, he was the man in the middle for Celtic’s comprehensive 5-0 win versus Ross County in late November at Celtic Park. The Hoops scored five first-half goals making it a controversy free afternoon for the whistler.

Meanwhile, managerless Motherwell will have Stephen Friel in charge for their third clash of the season against the Scottish champions this weekend.
Stuart Kettlewell resigned on Monday due to personal abuse he suffered at Fir Park from Well supporters. The 40 year-old claimed that the abuse hurled at him was now affecting his family, who did not want to attend matches anymore.

Motherwell currently sit fifth in the Scottish Premiership, six points off Dundee United in third. Accumulating one victory in nine games, it’s worth noting that the Steelmen are only six adrift of Kilmarnock who are positioned in that relegation playoff position.
Celtic remain comfortably positioned at the foot of the table despite theRangers playing a match more. Rodgers’ men will play their game in hand against Tony Docherty’s Dundee at Celtic Park a week today.

Motherwell against Celtic will be shown live on Sky Sports Football despite the 3:00pm kick off. For subscribers outside Britain and Ireland, Celtic TV will provide coverage of the game.
