Celtic winger Nicolas Kuhn has become a hero this season, producing some great performances in the Scottish Premiership and in the Champions League.

In 17 appearances this season in all competitions, the German winger has registered ten goals and 11 assists, and his meteoric rise has been tracked by several top clubs across Europe.

Despite strong competition for places, he has nailed down his position and is one of the first names on the teamsheet under Brendan Rodgers.

Celtic skipper Callum McGregor has hailed him as ‘unbelievable’, adding that the winger has been going through an ‘incredible’ run of form at the moment.

Nicolas Kuhn could be targeted by top clubs very soon

Earlier this month, Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg claimed that Premier League clubs are showing keen interest in signing Kuhn.

He has a contract at Parkhead until 2029, and several clubs have already inquired about his situation.

Fulham and Brentford have been credited with an interest, per Glasgow Times, and Celtic can expect to recoup a massive profit from his sale if they at all decide to let him go.

Kuhn arrived in Glasgow last January for £3 million from Rapid Wien. According to a fresh report from Kronen Zeitung, a fee of around €30m (£24.8m) has been discussed as a transfer value.

Celtic are under no pressure to sell him, but they recoup eight times the money they paid for him.

It would be seen as a terrific piece of business, similar to what they did with Kieran Tierney and Matt O’Riley.

Celtic should reject all offers for Kuhn in January

Theo Walcott recently praised Kuhn, highlighting his abilities and what he brings to the club.

As Kuhn continues to be a talismanic figure at the club, the interest from other clubs naturally increases.

Having said that, Celtic should issue a hands-off warning to potential suitors in January, as they simply cannot afford to lose the German in the middle of the season.
