Christopher Nkunku’s future at Chelsea appears uncertain, with several top European clubs reportedly showing interest in the forward. According to Graeme Bailey of TBR Football, the 27-year-old could leave as early as January, with his representatives already exploring other options.

Nkunku joined Chelsea from RB Leipzig in 2023 in a £52 million deal but has struggled to secure consistent playing time, sparking speculation about his next move.

Journalist Ben Jacobs recently revealed that PSG have a genuine interest in Nkunku but have yet to approach Chelsea.

The Blues are eager to keep him, meaning any potential exit would likely hinge on the player’s desire to leave. At the same time, Chelsea are not expected to pursue Kolo Muani.

Sky Sports Germany’s Florian Plettenberg reports that if Nkunku joins Bayern Munich, it will be on a permanent deal, as neither the player nor the club is interested in a simple loan move. The 27-year-old is keen on making the move to Bayern right away, with personal terms fully agreed.

Negotiations are ongoing, and Bayern’s club chief, Max Eberl, is pushing to finalize the deal, even if Mathys Tel ends up staying. While the transfer is proving to be complex, Bayern Munich remains committed to making it happen.
