Chelsea’s Christopher Nkunku set for PSG return? | OneFootball

Will Chelsea striker Christopher Nkunku (27) return to formative club PSG? According to Ben Jacobs, Les Parisiens have taken an interest in reuniting with their former Academy graduate. The France international left the French capital for RB Leipzig in 2019 over a reported €15m deal. Jacobs reports that PSG are yet to contact Chelsea over Nkunku with the Blues not intent on letting their player leave.

The Telegraph mentioned yesterday that Nkunku is open to a move away from Chelsea considering he is playing second fiddle under Enzo Maresca as the France international plays most of the time in Conference League or domestic competitions. The Blues are reportedly open to listen to offers for their wantaway striker due to Chelsea’s squad depth.

Italian reporter Fabrizio Romano adds that no talks have taken place between PSG and Chelsea as the Ligue 1 champions are reportedly not entertaining a comeback with their Academy graduate and are looking at a different kind of players to meet Luis Enrique’s requirements.
