“Chelsea’s current plan” – Fabrizio Romano doubles down on transfer news despite reports

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has doubled down on some transfer news despite other reports that have come out last week.
The new comes after Chelsea beat Copenhagen 1-0 on Thursday night to advance into the quarter finals of the Conference League, winning the tie 3-1 on aggregate.
It wasn’t easy for Chelsea though and once again they were very bad in the first 45 minutes. It took a stunning solo goal from Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall to get The Blues over the line and into the next round.
Enzo Maresca made some big changes at half time, although one of them, removing youngster Josh Acheampong, received some criticism. Maresca has since explained his thinking behind that move.
But the bottom line is that Chelsea are through and Chelsea advance in a competition that they are expected to win.
And of course, amongst all of this there has been plenty of transfer news and happenings around the club this weekend.

We heard last week about Chelsea potentially sending Jadon Sancho back to Manchester United in some strange news that came out. He apparently has some clause to break the obligation to sign him if Chelsea sent United a lot of money.
Talk of this happening has been squashed by Romano again, who has before 100% guaranteed that Sancho will join Chelsea on a permanent deal at the end of his loan spell this summer.
The transfer expert has said again that Sancho will be joining Chelsea this summer, or at least that is the current plan.
He said on his YouTube channel last night:
“Chelsea’s current plan is to keep Jadon Sancho! They’re not activating any contacts right now to send him back to Manchester United.”
