The Sporting Director of Como feels confident that Inter Milan and Real Madrid target Nico Paz will be at the club next season.

Executive Carlalberto Ludi made the bold claim while addressing the Argentine’s future in a press conference before today’s Serie A match against Empoli, as reported by FCInterNews.

The future of Como midfielder Nico Paz has been a hot topic in Serie A this season.

The 20-year-old has still only been in the league for less than a year. He arrived at Como last summer from Real Madrid.

However, Paz’s performances have already attracted plenty of transfer interest.

The strongest links have concerned Inter Milan. Reportedly, the Nerazzurri see Nico Paz as a priority target for the summer transfer window.

However, there is a major problem for Inter. And that comes in the form of Paz’s former club Real Madrid.

Los Blancos sold Paz to Como outright last summer rather than loaning him out. However, they did insert a buyback clause in the deal.

However, the question of Paz’s future won’t just be settled by big names like Inter and Real Madrid.

As things stand, the Argentine remains a Como player.

And the Lariani will hardly want to lose Nico Paz after just one season.

Paz was out for today’s Serie A clash with Empoli. However, he was still a hot topic of discussion in the pre-match press conference.

Como Sporting Director Carlalberto Ludi addressed the press before the match.

And when asked whether Paz will still be at the club next season he answered simply: “Yes.”
