Eintracht Frankfurt to rival West Ham to sign Elye Wahi in a bid to replace Omar Marmoush

According to Fabrice Hawkins, Eintracht Frankfurt are trying to act quickly to sign Elye Wahi (22) as they aim to replace Omar Marmoush (25) who is set to join Manchester City. West Ham United and another named Englush club are also in the race to sign the French striker.

Despite the interest shown in the forward, Marseille do not want to sell the 22-year-old and it will take a bid of €25m + €5m in bonuses to convince the Ligue 1 club to sell the former Montpellier forward. Discussions between OM and Frankfurt are currently in progress to sign Wahi.

Arsenal in the race?

As they look to replace the injured Gabriel Jesus, Arsenal have also been linked with a potential move for the Les Phocéens forward. La Provence understands that Mikel Arteta’s side are considering the Frenchman and have added him to a list of potential candidates to replace Jesus.
