Eliot Matazo absent from Monaco training ahead of impending Hull City transfer | OneFootball

Eliot Matazo (22) was absent from AS Monaco training on Friday ahead of his impending move to EFL Championship side Hull City.

As previously reported by L’Équipe, Monaco have agreed a €2m deal with Hull City to sell their academy product. The Belgium youth international has struggled to establish himself at his formative club, making just two starts this season and just seven appearances in all competitions, despite Les Monégasques competing on several fronts.

One in, one out at Monaco?

Get French Football News understands that Matazo’s move to Hull City could be quickly wrapped up. Absent from a first-team training session, attended by Get French Football News on Friday afternoon, he is not expected to be in Monaco’s squad to face Stade Rennais on Saturday.

It could be a case of one in, one out at the Principality club with RMC Sport reporting that a deal in principle has been reached with Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Éric Junior Dina Ebimbe (24).
