Real Madrid’s teenage sensation, Endrick, continues to prove his worth, showcasing his impressive talent in the Copa del Rey this season.

The 18-year-old forward has now scored five goals in five matches in the tournament, further underlining his potential as one of the most promising youngsters at the club.

Against Real Sociedad, he displayed his composure and creativity, netting a beautifully executed goal thanks to an assist from his Brazilian compatriot, Vinicius.

“When Vini put the ball in, I thought the goalkeeper was going to come out. I thought about shooting hard, but I looked at Remiro, and it worked out well.

“What a pass from Vini. In the first leg, he made the same pass with his left foot, and I hit the post. Now it’s worked out well, I’m delighted,” he said.

The young striker understands the challenge of competing for minutes at Real Madrid, where the attacking line is filled with world-class talent. Yet, his knack for seizing opportunities and making his mark is clearly paying off.

“I have to take advantage of my opportunities. I know how difficult it is to play here, with the four best players in the world up front.

“They’re incredible players. When I get the chance, I have to help my team. Scoring goals is great for me, and I’m very happy,” he noted.

While Endrick’s impressive performances continue to attract attention, the rest of the squad remains focused on their broader objectives.

Aurelien Tchouameni expressed his satisfaction at reaching the final but acknowledged that the team needs to improve their overall performance.

“We’re happy because we’re going to play in a final, but as far as the match itself… we can’t be happy. We gave it our all until the end, but we have to play better,” he analysed.

The French midfielder also reflected on the demanding nature of the season, particularly after enduring their third extra-time encounter.

“We know we have high-level players on the bench, so we’d have opportunities until the end. We had to keep creating. And that’s what we did. But we have to do better.”

Tchouameni acknowledged that winning trophies is always a top priority for Real Madrid, and the opportunity to compete for another title in the Copa del Rey final is a challenge they fully intend to embrace.

“Before every season, we want to win titles. It’s not easy, but now we have another chance. We’re going to go for it,” he concluded.

Antonio Rudiger, the scorer of the decisive goal against Real Sociedad, also shared his thoughts on the challenging encounter.

The German defender admitted that the match was tougher than expected, given their narrow 1-0 lead from the first leg. However, Rudiger’s well-timed header from an accurate ball delivered by Arda proved crucial in sealing the win.

Despite starting the match on the bench, Rudiger made a significant impact when called upon.

“A good ball from Arda, for me it was very easy. We’re in the final. This season is very difficult. We’re in another final, and we’re going to win,” he said about the goal.

With the Copa del Rey final now firmly in their sights, Real Madrid will be aiming to add yet another trophy to their impressive collection this season.
