Arsenal and Chelsea may be interested to know that Wolves forward Matheus Cunha will have a release clause worth £62million this summer.
That’s according to the latest on Cunha’s future in a report from the Daily Mail, which also states that the Brazil international is attracting interest from the likes of Tottenham, Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest.
Cunha has shone in the Premier League this season, weighing in with 11 goals and four assists in 23 games so far, showing that he could surely be an asset for bigger clubs.
Wolves have been struggling in general and may even find themselves battling to avoid relegation come May, so one can only imagine how good Cunha could be with better players around him.
The Mail claim Arsenal and Chelsea are among Cunha’s main admirers, and there’s surely a role for the 25-year-old at either of those clubs.

£62m isn’t exactly cheap, but it’s not bad in this market, and one imagines Arsenal and Chelsea can afford to pay that kind of fee.
Cunha’s ability to play up front or out wide also surely gives him extra value, as he could fill in a variety of roles that both Arsenal and Chelsea are slightly lacking in at the moment.
The Gunners need an alternative to Kai Havertz as their main centre-forward, but they could also do with someone to ensure they’re not overly reliant on Bukayo Saka out wide.
Saka’s injury has been a big blow for Arsenal, who can’t really be relying on inconsistent performers like Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard too often.
Chelsea, meanwhile, brought in big names like Joao Felix, Jadon Sancho and Pedro Neto in the summer, but Cunha arguably looks like he could be an upgrade on any of those.
The former Atletico Madrid man might also prove a more reliable option leading the line than the inconsistent Nicolas Jackson.
