The month of March has been an up and down one for the Los Angeles Galaxy. Despite the team being winless in their first four games to start the 2025 MLS regular season, there have been a couple of bright spots.
Last Sunday, the LA Galaxy ended their three-game losing streak when they played to a 1-1 draw against the Portland Timbers. Days before that, they Galaxy won 4-1 against Herediano in the second leg of the quarterfinals for the Concacaf Champions Cup.
This month, four members of the LA Galaxy share birthdays including a couple of the newcomers. Together, they will celebrate turning a year older in March.
The Brazilian soccer player is one of the many newcomers to the Los Angeles Galaxy this year. He recently turned 21 in the first week of the month.
Nascimento made his season debut when he subbed into the game against the Timbers. He took the field for Edwin Cerrillo at the center spot of the midline in their 4-3-3 formation.
On loan with Botafogo, the striker is expected to help solve some of the team's recent scoring woes. In 76 appearances for the Rio de Janeiro-based soccer club, Nascimento has scored eight times.
Internationally, he has also played for his Brazilian national team at the U15, U20 & U23 levels. He has recorded seven goals in a total of 13 games with them.
Joining the Los Angeles Galaxy from Louisville City SC, the young midfielder is another newcomer celebrating his birthday this month. The 6'2'' athlete turned 22 during the second week of March.
Though he did not play on Sunday in Portland, Wynder has appeared in all three of the other regular season games for the LA Galaxy. He made one start and came in as a substitute twice.
In 2022, this birthday boy won the Comeback Player of the Year Award in the United Soccer League Championship.
As a member of last year's championship team, this LA Galaxy midfielder is seeing more playing time recently in 2025. He turned 25 on Sunday when the team played in Portland.
Parente also plays for Ventura County FC, which is the LA Galaxy's second level team. He is in his second season with the Los Angeles Galaxy after playing three seasons with the Columbus Crew.
The Crew won the MLS Cup title in 2023, making him a back-to-back champion. Parente was credited with assisting Miguel Berry's goal in the 38th minute in the 4-1 victory over Herediano.
This Argentine sensation has made an impact for the LA Galaxy since joining the MLS Western Conference powerhouse. He scored the first of four goals in the second leg of the quarterfinals (Concacaf Championship Cup) against Herediano.
The soon-to-be 22-year-old had one goal and two assists last season in 2024. He made 21 starts last year despite battling injuries mid-season.
Aude has played in all four games this regular season, but only started once. This is his third year with the Los Angeles Galaxy.
