England international Anthony Gordon is enjoying himself once again at Newcastle this season and has now added a stunner to his goal catalogue in the process.
The former Everton starlet needed just two minutes to give the Magpies the lead at St. James' Park against visiting Aston Villa, with Eddie Howe's men eager to continue their push for Champions League football.
After picking up the ball from Joelinton's lay-off, Gordon cut in from the left-hand channel before bending a sweetly struck effort past a fully-stretched Emi Martínez to set Newcastle off and running early doors.
With that, Gordon scored or assisted in three consecutive Premier League outings for the first time in his career, while stretching his overall contributions to four straight matches after also adding an assist against Brentford in the Carabao Cup.
Going from strength to strength on Tyneside.
