How Eberechi Eze responded when asked if he wants to join Tottenham | OneFootball

Crystal Palace midfielder Eberechi Eze was the star of the show against Tottenham in the Premier League on Sunday.

The England international scored twice away to Spurs to give his team their first win against the North London side since 1997.

His brilliant performances this season for Oliver Glasner’s team have not gone unnoticed.

The player has not only scored 12 goals this season but also provided 11 assists, which shows his ability to score goal as well as create them for his teammates.

Tottenham and Man United want Eberechi Eze

It is because of such performances that the likes of Tottenham and Manchester United are looking to make a move for him this summer.

Following the victory away to Spurs, when Eze was about to leave the stadium, he was asked to sign some matchday programmes by the fans.

The midfielder was then asked by one of the fans if he would like to join Ange Postecoglou’s team next season.

The way Eze reacted, Spurs fans are getting excited about a possible move in the near future.

Only time will tell if Spurs will make a move for the English star but he is exactly what they need in their team.

Eze can play on either flank as well as in the central positions and he can score and create goals from all those positions.

One potential hurdle for Spurs is the structure of the payment for Eze’s release clause.

Reports suggest that Crystal Palace prefer the clause to be paid in full upfront, which could pose a challenge for Tottenham’s financial planning.

Despite these challenges, Tottenham’s management are keen on bringing Eze to North London, viewing him as a valuable addition to their squad.
