I must have had a premonition, as the day before this latest round of top tier matches kicked off, I had a look at the Premier League sack race.
How things were looking for the 2024/25 running of this ‘race’…
Last season, it was actually Paul Heckingbottom that ‘won’ the 2023/24 Premier League sack race, sacked and replaced by Chris Wilder on 5 December 2023.
Anyway, ahead of the weekend just ended, nobody sacked/leaving yet from a Premier League club, so how were the bookies seeing it last Thursday (24 October 2024)?

As you no doubt know, Erik ten Hag has won that Premier League sack race.
Manchester United announcing today (Monday 28 October) that he had been sacked. With hindsight, easy to think that 4/1 was actually a very good bet ahead of this past weekend, that if Man U were to lose at West Ham, then very likely that they would get rid of Erik ten Hag.
