Liverpool manager Arne Slot has given Kostas Tsimikas the nod in recent matches with Andy Robertson not getting enough playing time recently.
Tsimikas is most likely on his way out of the club after this season and it is easy to see why considering his performance against Chelsea on Sunday.
The left-back was at fault for Chelsea’s second goal at Stamford Bridge and Sky Sports pundit Jamie Redknapp named a Premier League left-back who the Premier League champions are currently looking at ahead of the summer transfer window.
Redknapp named Bournemouth defender Milos Kerkez as the player Liverpool are interested in signing this summer.
“I certainly wouldn’t write Andy Robertson off just yet, he’s still a top player,” the pundit said on Sky Sports, as reported by Rousing The Kop.
“He’s a great professional, you make sure you keep him even if you do bring in Kerkez.
“Kerkez has been amazing for Bournemouth. He’s like a younger version and that’s going to be the key. I’m sure they are looking at who they can bring in.”
Kerkez would fit Liverpool’s playing style and philosophy and it is a no-brainer for the Reds boss this summer.
The Bournemouth defender is known for his attacking playing style while also being efficient defensively.
He is only 21-years-old and has a bright future ahead of him with so much more room for improvement.

Along with signing a new left-back, the Reds are looking to strengthen their attack by targeting a move for a player who can replace Darwin Nunez at Anfield.
Both Tsimikas and Nunez are reportedly among the five players that the Reds are looking to sell this summer.
