It was an evening where San Siro became another planet - a Nerazzurri world, brimming with energy throughout a seemingly endless match. And then there were those three minutes when Inter turned it around through Lautaro and Pavard. Three wonderful minutes that will forever live in the memory of these fans, this team and these players. The visitors had just scored. Everything was hanging by a thread, especially after the 2-1 scoreline in the first leg. And everything still needed to be written. And so, captain Lautaro and everyone else, from the first player to the last, stepped up. They gave it everything, every drop of energy, and displayed that incredible desire to lift this Club as high as it can go.
A semi-final showdown against Barcelona became reality. Inter are back among Europe’s top four, and this time they’ve done it by knocking out Bayern Munich. Still fuelled by the heroic night at the Allianz Arena, Inzaghi’s men delivered another performance for the ages - intense, united, dangerous. Bayern’s two goals came almost out of nowhere, in the midst of a tough, wide-open contest where the German side pressed relentlessly, culminating in one final siege. Kane’s opener could have unsettled Inter, but the Nerazzurri, spurred on by the unstoppable roar of their fans, knew how to respond. Those minutes when San Siro witnessed Lautaro’s equaliser and Pavard’s towering header will remain etched in the memory of everyone lucky enough to be there. Lautaro, the captain, netted for the 150th time in Nerazzurri colours. And then Pavard leaped highest and headed home his first for the Club. When Dier pulled one back, it became chaotic. There was no script; it was a matter pure survival. Inter dug in, defended with everything they had, launched counter-attacks and fought every step of the way. And through it all, “C’è solo l’Inter” reverberated around the stadium from every corner, helping the team get over the line. When the full-time whistle was blown, San Siro erupted.
