Is Benjamin Šeško moving to Arsenal?

Over the past few days, rumours have been circulating linking RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Šeško with a move to Arsenal.

As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Šeško’s agent has given an update on the situation.

Speaking in an exclusive interview, the Slovenian international’s agent, Elvis Beganović, was quick to dismiss the stories surrounding any potential move to Arsenal, particularly any loan deal for Šeško.

“I don’t know from where does this story comes. I never talked with Arsenal about loan of Šeško.” He continued: “Šeško is not a player for loans, never a topic for Arsenal or any other club”.

Beganović later explained that he nor his player were aware of any interest from top European clubs this winter.

He ended by saying that he can only confirm that Šeško is an RB Leipzig player, nothing else.

The comments indicate that if teams such as Arsenal were interested, Leipzig would decide if they felt a deal could be made for the right price.

However, there is no movement on any potential deal as things stand, and Šeško looks set to stay in Saxony.
