Italy international Moise Kean is now up to 20 goals across all competitions this season, which means he has become only the third player to hit that tally for Fiorentina in the three-point era.
The former Juventus striker scored the tie-winning goal in a 3-1 victory over Panathinaikos in the Conference League on Thursday night, which was enough to secure the comeback in an eventual 5-4 aggregate victory against the Greek outfit.
La Vila will meet Celje in the quarter-finals, after they beat Kugano on penalties on Thursday.

Having scored Fiorentina’s third goal in last night’s 3-1 victory, Kean is now up to 20 goals in all competitions this season, made up of 15 from 25 Serie A appearances, four goals in the Conference League and the competition’s qualifiers, plus one more in the Coppa Italia.
Former Italy strikers Luca Toni and Alberto Gilardino are the only former Fiorentina players to have hit the 20-goal mark since the beginning of the three-point era in Serie A.
The 2024-25 campaign has been, by far and away, Kean’s best season in front of goal. He had never previously hit double figures in Serie A, and has only gone into double figures across all competitions once previously in his career: Netting 17 while on loan with PSG from Everton in 2020-21.
