Barcelona star Lamine Yamal on Sunday continued to etch his name indellibly into the history books of Spanish football.

This comes owing to the attacker’s exploits in the season’s final edition of El Clásico.

Barcelona and Real Madrid of course locked horns for the latest occasion yesterday evening, in a crunch clash in the race for the La Liga title.

When all was said and done, it was the former who emerged on the right side of a seven-goal thriller, to all but confirm their status as Spanish champions.

The aforementioned Lamine, for his part, featured from the off in the clash, and played a starring role once more.

With Barca trailing by two goals to one during the first-half, the youngster slotted a wonderful finish into the far corner of Thibaut Courtois’ net.

And as alluded to above, in the process, Lamine made history.

As revealed by statisticians StatMuse, the Spanish international has broken teammate Ansu Fati’s record as the player with the most La Liga goals before turning 18.
