Latest Bastoni update after Inter injury scare | OneFootball

Sky Sport Italia reports Inter defender Alessandro Bastoni trained separately this morning, but the Nerazzurri are confident he’ll be available against Bayern Munich on Tuesday.

The Italy international was subbed off at half time of a 2-2 draw against Parma on Saturday with a suspected knee injury.

Sky Sport journalist Matteo Barzaghi reported the latest fitness updates on the Inter defender on Sunday morning, saying that Bastoni trained separately from the rest of the team after the Parma game.

Bastoni will continue to be monitored on the eve of the match on Monday, but his condition doesn’t seem worrying, meaning that Inter hope he’ll be available for a Champions League quarter-final first leg against Bayern Munich on Tuesday.

Bastoni has one goal and five assists in 43 appearances with the defending Serie A champions this season.

Inter will surely be without Denzel Dumfries and Piotr Zielinski in Munich, while Lautaro Martinez has recovered and already started against Parma on Saturday.
