Lazio president Claudio Lotito did not mince words when addressing the current state of Italian football.
The chairman of the Biancocelesti took a veiled shot at the Friedkins given their recent deal to acquire a majority stake in Everton.
In an interview with calciomercato.it, Lotito was asked whether he would consider investing in a foreign club as well.
“First of all, I have to improve Lazio,” stated Lotito.
“I am the president of this club and I work with passion, pleasure, enthusiasm, and a spirit of service. I cultivate the economic aspect in other activities.”
