Serie A side Lazio are set to hand manager Marco Baroni a new deal and they have already prepared terms of the contract.
Baroni has impressed in his debut for the club and the club are currently inside the top four. La Gazzetta dello Sport have reported that club director Claudio Lotito is very satisfied with Baroni and he believes that the manager is laying down the foundation for the future.
The club have prepared a new deal and his stay will be extended till the summer of 2028. He will be handed around €2 million per season and bonuses that could lead to €500k per season. Lotito believes that Baroni deserves these figures and there is a special clause in the deal, which can only be triggered if Lazio win the league.
Lotito is also impressed with how Baroni has solved problems and has managed to reignite Pedro’s time at the club. The manager’s renewal will be the start of new deals being handed to other players and that includes Pedro, Matias Vecino and Adam Marusic.
