We bring you a couple of Leicester City transfer stories today, while we talk Foxes rumours. The King Power club are said to be mulling various moves in the January window, as always. Whether any actual beneficial deals eventually transpire is up for debate.
Nevertheless, City reportedly wish to strengthening their defence. In fact, two defensive areas could be boosted by fresh talent. Those precise positions are centre back and full back. In addition, LCFC may want a winger (instead of a striker) if reports are true.
Many players have already been linked with a move to the east Midlands. Hopefully Leicester will get one or two of these targets over the line and into the squad. Because, believe you me, the club is in trouble on the pitch at the minute. And, if claims are accurate, things aren't much better away from the field of play on Filbert Way.
So, what are the latest connections to City in the media? Are the prospects of signing either of them, or both, realistic? And just who are Jakub Moder and Haji Wright? Let's get to it.
First of all, it was said that LCFC had their eye on Ezechiel Banzuzi of OH Leuven. City and their sister club rate the teenager highly. Although Banzuzi will probably move to Monaco now, according to in the know journalists.
On to Moder then. Leicester, Everton, Freiburg and Stuttgart are the supposed interested parties. The Poland international isn't favoured at Brighton & Hove Albion. Yet the Foxes don't require a central midfielder, so I can't see this one happening:
"The 25-year-old is out of contract in the summer, and so would come cheap. But a central midfielder is not thought to be top of City’s priority list right now. Ruud van Nistelrooy currently has Harry Winks, Boubakary Soumare, Wilfred Ndidi, Oliver Skipp and Hamza Choudhury to choose from."Leicestershire Live
