Sport Bild reported that Liverpool are interested in Wolfsburg duo forward Mohamed Amoura and defender Konstantinos Koulierakis.

With the future of Liverpool’s Mohammed Salah still up in the air as contract extension talks seemingly hit a buffer, alternatives need to be looked at and Amoura is said to be of particular interest to the Premier League side. Arsenal and Eintracht Frankfurt are also said to be interested in the Algerian.

Wolfsburg are set to trigger the permanent option in Amoura’s loan, which is said to be around €14.5m. While the price that they would consider selling the 24-year-old is said to be €40m. The Algerian is Wolfsburg’s top scorer and top assisted this season with eight and six in 19 games this season.

When it comes to Koulierakis, Liverpool are one of several teams interested in the Greek international. The Premier League leaders have already enquired about Koulierakis. When it comes it an asking price, Wolfsburg will demand around €40m. However, AC Milan, Real Madrid and several Premier League sides sent scouts to watch the 21-year-old in an international game against England earlier this season.
