Who is Anis Hadj Moussa?

Anis Hadj Moussa started his career in France before moving to Dutch club Feyenoord. The footballer is a sound talent even though he hasn’t returned extraordinary numbers so far. His impressive rise in recent times hasn’t gone unnoticed as European clubs are monitoring him.

Moussa has six goals and two assists in 23 games in the ongoing campaign so far. He is averaging 1.2 shots, 0.7 key passes, and 1.2 dribbles per game (stats via whoscored).

The Algerian plays on the right wing and likes to cut in towards the goal. He has great dribbling skills, provides visionary passes and is also effective at taking set pieces. However, he can work on his aerial presence and defensive contributions.

Is Anis Hadj Moussa the successor of Mohamed Salah?

Though Liverpool are leading the charts across the competitions, they need to solidify their attacking unit in the coming months. With uncertainty over the futures of Mohamed Salah and Luis Diaz, it’s quite natural for the club to be linked with attackers.

One of the names that have emerged recently is Anis Hadj Moussa. It’s been reported that the Reds are planning to finalize the move for the youngster. The player will arrive in the next summer and can strengthen the offensive pack.

Though Moussa isn’t a direct replacement for Salah, the 22-year-old can be a valuable player going forward. He has all the traits to succeed in the Premier League. With more experience and guidance from some of the best in the business, he can certainly improve his game.
