A leading member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona trails only one player when it comes to assists in Europe’s top-5 leagues this season.

The Barca star in question? Lamine Yamal.

Wide-man Lamine has of course been in fine form across the campaign to date, shining from his berth on the right of new boss Hansi Flick’s frontline.

The 17-year-old’s creative exploits have been of a particularly impressive nature, with Lamine, all told, having racked up 16 assists across all competitions.

11 such assists have come in league play, in 23 total appearances.

And as much, as alluded to above, is enough for Lamine to take his place in 2nd on the list of assist makers in Europe’s top leagues in 2024/25.

The only player to have managed more comes in the form of Mohamed Salah, who, in the midst of a historic season to date, has notched a whopping 17 Premier League assists.
