In perhaps one of the biggest transfer stories in MLS this offseason, superstar attackers Evander and Lucho Acosta are reportedly both still angling for moves away from the Portland Timbers and FC Cincinnati respectively.
According to reports from MLS insider Tom Bogert, Cincinnati has 'agreed a fee' to sell Acosta to Argentine club Estudiantes, and are 'in talks' to sign Evander as his replacement.
Meanwhile, Portland could use Evander to cash in on MLS' new cash-based internal transfer market, and have reportedly already rejected a bid of $12 million from FC Dallas.
The Brazilian scored a staggering 15 goals and provided 19 assists in the 2024 season for the Timbers.
