Manchester United defender Harry Maguire is reportedly a man in demand, as three clubs are interested in signing him next summer.
The 31-year-old has seemingly caught a new lease on life since the arrival of Ruben Amorim last month. The defender who was a target of ridicule amongst fans and observers alike in previous campaigns for his tendency to commit blunders has looked much more reassured at the back as of late.
The Englishman was one the team’s best performers in the dramatic come-from-behind victory over Man City, receiving plaudits for his exceptional marking for Erling Haaland. Amorim thus applauded the defender’s display, considering him as the perfect profile to play at the heart of the backline.
However, Maguire’s contract will expire at the end of the season, raising questions over his future. And while the England international revealed ‘positive’ talks are ongoing with the club over a new deal, his situation has apparently alarmed several suitors between England and abroad.

According to Fichajes.net, three clubs are keeping tabs on the out-of-contract defender, beginning with his old employers Leicester City. The defender had risen to prominence during his time with the Foxes before being sold to the Red Devils for circa £80 million. Hence, the East Midlands club could be tempted to regain the services of their former player for free.
Moreover, the Spanish source mentions Napoli as a potential destination. The Partenopei have already signed a Man United star last summer in the shape of Scott McTominay, and the latter’s exploits in Southern Italy could encourage Antonio Conte’s side to do some additional shopping in Manchester.
Finally, the report mentions the ambitious Galatasaray who have a knack for pouncing for star players who are on the wrong side of 30. The Istanbul-based giants have also been linked with another out-of-contract Man United defender in the form of Victor Lindelof.
