The future of Marcus Rashford will likely be determined this 2024-25 season with Ruben Amorim taking over the Manchester United job.
Last month, TEAMTalk reported that Paris Saint-Germain have rekindled its interest in Rashford. Although the obstacles that prevented a summer transfer remain, the Ligue 1 club could be ready to make another attempt to sign him next year.
Rashford will now be working under new manager Ruben Amorim, who officially takes charge at Manchester United on Friday. According to TEAMTalk, Rashford is hopeful about Amorim’s arrival, seeing it as a fresh chance to find his form again.
The report also notes that Amorim values Rashford’s versatility in various attacking roles and believes he has the potential to regain confidence and deliver strong performances quickly.

On Off The Ball, Keith Treacy shared his thoughts on the game, expressing real concern over Rashford’s performance. Treacy noted that Rashford just didn’t seem fully engaged, adding that what he saw from the winger was troubling.
“I think Palmer was okay in terms of linking the play, but in terms of being that threat, in terms of scoring the goal, wasn’t quite there, although he huffed and puffed Pedro Neto the same,” Treacy said (h/t TBR Football).
“Rashford, he had a volley that he hit the crossbar with, but generally not really at the races again, which is a big, big worry for Manchester United. But what I liked about Hojlund is his physical attributes.
“When that ball gets fired into him, he’s keeping the two Chelsea centre halves at bay, he’s bringing Garnacho into the game, he’s bringing Rashford into the game, and balls into the box, he’s affecting what the two Chelsea centre halves are doing.”
