City fell short against United last time in a 4-2 Barclays WSL defeat at the Etihad Stadium. In an eventful first-half, the visitors went into a 3-0 lead, courtesy of two goals from Ella Toone and a strike from Leah Galton.
Despite the setback, City responded with determination, narrowing the deficit before the interval through expertly placed headers from Vivianne Miedema and Rebecca Knaak.
However, Toone sealed her hat-trick shortly after the restart, bolstering Marc Skinner’s side’s lead and halting our comeback efforts.
The game is not available to watch on TV in the United Kingdom.
It is however, available to watch on the Barclays Women’s Super League Youtube channel, and fans around the globe can find out how to watch the match via livesoccertv.com.
