While Milan complete two official transfers today, they are formulating a plan to convince Chelsea into releasing Joao Felix.
The Rossoneri are very active in the January transfer window and need reinforcements for their attack.
New coach Sergio Conceicao has reportedly set his sights firmly on Portugal international Joao Felix, who was considered a future sensation before his career started to fizzle out.
Atletico Madrid paid €127m to purchase the trequartista from Benfica in 2019, then he had loan experiences at Chelsea and Barcelona before the sale to the Stamford Bridge side for €52m.

While Chelsea are reportedly refusing to let Joao Felix leave on loan in January, La Gazzetta dello Sport and the Corriere della Sera remain confident that Milan will continue pushing for his signature.
They are helped by the fact his agent is Jorge Mendes, who also represents Sergio Conceicao and has close ties with Milan.
His salary is also far lower than the one Marcus Rashford brings with him, ‘only’ €4.5m per season.
Joao Felix can play as a trequartista in the 4-2-3-1 formation or a support striker in a 4-4-2.
Meanwhile, Milan completed two transfers today, selling striker Luka Romero to Cruz Azul FC, interrupting his loan move at Deportivo Alaves.
Defender Marco Pellegrino has also cut his loan at Club Atletico Independiente short to join Huracan on another temporary move to June 30.
