Bild reports that despite reports in Spain stating that Stuttgart midfielder Angelo Stiller and Real Madrid have reached an agreement on a transfer this summer, this is not the case.
There has been no sort of communication between Stiller and Real Madrid, while the 24-year-old has not expressed any desire to leave the MHP Arena this summer.
Stiller has attracted interest from several clubs, including Liverpool and now Real Madrid. However, he is integral to Stuttgart and how they play that they see him as unsellable, reports kicker. Head coach Sebastian Hoeneß has also insisted that the midfielder is not sold until at least 2026.
The 24-year-old does have a release clause in his VfB contract that is worth around €40m, but it can be bought out by Stuttgart for a fee of €2m. Meaning the recent DFB-Pokal winners can decide on the asking price.
However, if Stuttgart receives a large offer for the 24-year-old, they could consider selling him.
Stiller showed his importance last weekend when he came back from an ankle injury, put in a near man-of-the-match performance in the DFB Pokal final, before then having to withdraw from the upcoming Nations League finals following the re-aggravation of his injury.
