Official: Barcelona announce double injury boost for Real Madrid clash | OneFootball

La Liga giants Barcelona have on Saturday announced a timely double boost on the personnel front.

This comes amid confirmation that both Alejandro Balde and Marc Casadó have been given the medical green light to return to action.

Barcelona are of course currently in the thick of preparations for a crunch outing on Sunday.

Aware that a victory will see them all but assured of the La Liga title this season, the Blaugrana will play host to arch rivals Real Madrid, in the term’s final edition of El Clásico.

And as alluded to above, in efforts towards as much, Hansi Flick and his coaching staff will be able to call upon two important players once more.

Alejandro Balde and Marc Casadó have both spent recent weeks on the sidelines, with the latter having not been seen since all the way back in mid-March owing to a thigh injury.

But as per a release across Barca’s social media platforms, 24 hours out from facing Real Madrid:

‘Balde and M. Casadó have been given the all-clear’
