FC Barcelona will look to take a step closer to securing their place in the UEFA Champions League knockout stage when they take on SL Benfica later tonight in their penultimate league phase match.

Ahead of kickoff at Estadio da Luz, Barça manager Hansi Flick has announced the starting lineup that will take the field against Bruno Lage’s men.

The big news is that the German tactician has opted to go for Wojciech Szczesny in goal in place of Inaki Pena, opting to rotate his goalkeepers between La Liga and the Champions League.

Ronald Araujo and Pau Cubarsi continue as the two centre-backs for the Catalans with Inigo Martinez still unavailable through injury. Jules Kounde and Alejandro Balde are the two full-backs.

Pedri, Marc Casado, and Gavi are the three preferred starters in the centre of the park for Barcelona once again.

Moving ahead, Robert Lewandowski starts as the No. 9 as usual, flanked by the in-form duo of Lamine Yamal and Raphinha.
