Despite having a 1-0 lead in the first leg, Tottenham Hotspur couldn’t capitalize on it as they lost 4-0 in the second leg at Anfield to Liverpool in the semi-final round of the EFL Cup. What is more surprised is that they failed to even take a shot on target in 90 minutes.
Defence
Antonin Kinsky could’ve done better to restrict Liverpool from scoring four goals. However, he continues to operate between the sticks. Pedro Porro should be walking back into the XI at the cost of Archie Gray to take up the right-back position.
With so many injuries, Ange Postecoglou has no option but to deploy Kevin Danso and Ben Davies at the heart of the defence yet again. Even left-back Djed Spence retains his position in the starting lineup.

Midfield
While Pape Matar Sarr and Rodrigo Bentancur are playing in the middle of the park yet again, Yves Bissouma could be sacrificed to make way for Lucas Bergvall in the midfield unit.
Dejan Kulusevski is operating on the right flank again with Son Heung-min providing his services from the other end of the pitch. However, as Richarlison has suffered an injury, his position will be grabbed up by Mathys Tel.
Dominic Ayodele Solanke-Mitchell, Cristian Gabriel Romero, Wilson Isidor Odobert, Radu Matei Drăgușin, Micky van de Ven, James Daniel Maddison, Iyenoma Destiny Udogie, Guglielmo Vicario, Brennan Price Johnson, Timo Werner, Richarlison de Andrade are all unavailable.
