Leeds United will be looking to maintain their impressive form when they face Sunderland in the Championship on Monday night.
The Whites are heading into this game on the back of a thumping 4-0 win against Watford.
Leeds are undefeated in their last 15 games in the Championship and will move to the top of the table once again should they win against the Black Cats.
Sunderland are fourth in the Championship with 62 points and they are also in the hunt for an automatic promotion. Regis Le Bris is working wonders taking taking charge of the club, and it is going to be a cracking contest.
Leeds will be without Max Wober who has undergone surgery. Likewise, Patrick Bamford is also out of action with a hamstring injury. Apart from that, Daniel Farke has all the key players available for this game.
For a game of this magnitude, Farke is expected to field a strong XI, and he is unlikely to make any major changes to the side from the previous game.
The only major decision he needs to make is whether to start with Pascal Struijk. The Dutch defender was named on the bench for Leeds’ win over Watford, and he is in line to make his first start since recovering from a hamstring injury.
He played the full 90 minutes against Millwall in the FA Cup last Saturday, and should be fine to start in such a big match.
If he makes the starting line-up, Farke will then bring Ethan Ampadu in central midfield to forge a partnership alongside Ao Tanaka. In that case, Ilia Gruev, 24, is likely to miss out.
Thus Leeds are likely to make just one change from the previous game, with Struijk coming in place of Gruev.
