Predicted Stuttgart XI vs PSG: VfB forced into one change

Stuttgart host Paris Saint-Germain at the MHPArena on Wednesday night, as they look to secure their place in the next phase of the UEFA Champions League.

However, Sebastian Hoeneß will be without central-defender Anthony Rouault after the Frenchman picked up his third yellow card of the competition, against Slovan Bratislava. That means a rare start for summer arrival Ameen Al-Dakhil, who has played just 371 minutes of football across eight games for VfB this season. Other than the one forced change, expect Hoeneß to field the same side that beat Slovan Bratislava 3-1 last week.

Stuttgart currently occupy the last play-off spot and should they qualify for the knockout stages, Ermedin Demirovic will serve a one game suspension upon picking up his next yellow card. Surprisingly, Nico Woltemade wasn’t registered for the competition at the start of the campaign, but the 22-year-old forward could be a big loss given his nine goals in 17 games this season.

Predicted Stuttgart XI vs Paris Saint-Germain

Alexander Nübel – Josha Vagnoman, Ameen Al-Dakhil, Jeff Chabot, Maximilian Mittelstädt – Atakan Karazor, Angelo Stiller – Jamie Leweling, Enzo Millot, Chris Führich – Deniz Undav
