Coach Thiago Motta, Pierre Kalulu, Kenan Yildiz and Weston McKennie spoke to the press after Juventus’ 1-1 draw away at Atalanta in Serie A.
“We are not happy with the result, but the boys put in a great performance all together. These guys are giving their all every game, we are aware of the situation we are going through, but these guys continue to deliver top performances. We did what we needed to do and Kalulu's great goal didn't come by chance but was a collective effort in which everyone participated. We are certainly not happy with the draw because we always want to win, but it is my obligation to recognise the performance of these guys who always work to win. The right spirit was never lacking.”
“Happy with the goal but the result hurts a bit because we had the game in our hands. We have to improve these small details, all mistakes are avoidable. There are some moments where you have to have to take responsibility and work to improve. Today it didn't go our way, we know that football is like that, but we have to pay more attention to the details that we are trying to improve in our game.”
“We always want to win, we played well, it is a shame about the result today. I should have passed the ball to [Samuel] Mbangula in that last chance because he was in a better position than me. I always want to do my best for the team, in whatever position I play.”
“We always play to win, every game, it's a time when it's important to stick together, all together. I'm fine, now we have to focus on the next game and go on playing as always to win. We have to do more to win because Juventus must always be at the top and to get to that position we have to win these types of games.”
