Bristol City and Sheffield United face off this Thursday at Ashton Gate in the first leg of the two sides' EFL Championship play-off semi-final.
The Robins had to come from two goals down to draw 2-2 with Preston North End in their last game of the regular season, Liam Manning's side clinging onto sixth place in the table courtesy of that result.
Chris Wilder's Blades, meanwhile, were already assured of a play-off spot and they recorded a 1-1 draw with Blackburn Rovers in the final matchweek.
Sheffield United fared better in the two sides' clashes earlier in the season: winning 2-1 at Ashton Gate in November and then sharing the spoils with the Robins after a 1-1 draw at Bramall Lane in March.
Ben Mead (Robins on Tour): Cannot believe I'm writing this, but Bristol City are gearing up for the Championship play-offs for the first time in 17 years. Sheffield United travel down to Ashton Gate for the first-leg and City simply have to get a result in ahead of the second-leg, away at Bramall Lane on Monday.
In all honesty, I'm slightly nervous, but not as much as I thought I would be. I feel like the pressure's off now, no-one expected us to make the play-offs. We did it. No-one's expecting us to beat Sheffield United, so we can go and play our game with the pressure fully on Chris Wilder and the Blades.
It's going to be one hell of an atmosphere, and I cannot wait. COME ON CITY!!
Theo (Allthingsblades): Just over one month ago most Sheffield United fans were starting to think we wouldn’t have to deal with the dreaded play-offs again, but here we are.
It’s the Blades' 10th play-off attempt and they are yet to win one! They have the worst record in play-offs (either in League One or the Championship), but we are looking to end this pain and get things right.
United face Bristol City away in the first leg and the Robins haven’t lost at home since February. Sheffield United finished 22 points ahead of Bristol City, but we can’t underestimate them as the play-offs are never simple. Both league games this season between the two clubs featured 90th minute goals so expect drama.
