PSG make contact with Real Madrid superstar amidst Saudi rumours | OneFootball

There is not a speck of doubt that Vinicius Jr. is one of the most talented players in the Real Madrid dressing room, and his numbers for the club speak volumes.

His future at the club, however, has been called into question repeatedly this season for a plethora of reasons from sporting concerns to economic hurdles.

Interest from Saudi Arabia and the arrival of an unmatchable offer on his table, needless to say, sparked the ruckus but the player’s behaviour on the field has not helped and is reportedly causing a divide in the dressing room.

Enter the Parisians

As relayed in a recent report by El Chiringuito, PSG have now entered the scene and are interested in signing the Real Madrid star from Santiago Bernabeu.

The Parisians have reportedly already had conversations with the UEFA Champions League winner and now throw in a new factor for Los Blancos to worry about.

The rift between Real Madrid and PSG is clear, especially after the Merengues stole Kylian Mbappe away from Paris last summer. The fact that it was a free transfer and that Los Blancos made him run down his contract only made matters worse.

PSG were interested in Vincius back then as well and saw it as a revenge move against the club that took away their star man. One year down, the story is beginning to gain life once more.

So far this season, Mbappe and Vinicius have struggled to coexist and it is no coincidence that each player’s peak has coincided with the other’s trough.

The Brazilian’s departure, thus, may not be as unlikely as it seemed a few years ago. He is indeed one of the team’s most important players, but the rise of a new ego clash may well be the final nail in the coffin
