Tipsbladet report that that Eintracht Frankfurt is intensifying its pursuit of Mathias Kvistgaarden, stating that the Bundesliga club was present at Brøndby Stadium this spring to see the top scorer in the Super League, and they now want to sign Kvistgaarden this summer.
However Eintracht Frankfurt who are also interested in Celtic’s Nicolas Kuhn, will have to fight to the limit for the Brondby striker because according to their sources, Celtic, who have previously bid for Mathias Kvistgaarden (in January), have also been present at Vestegnen for the matches in 2025, and the Scottish champions are also trying hard to land the striker this summer.

Eintracht Frankfurt are on course for Champions League qualification through their third place in the Bundesliga with three matches to play. They are also in a position to “wave many millions of kroner” at Brondby and also Mathias Kvistgaarden, plus they offer a chance to play in a top five league.
Eintracht Frankfurt, who sold Omar Marmoush for a huge transfer fee, see Mathias Kvistgaarden as an ideal replacement and Brondby’s financial demands are not going to be a problem for the Bundesliga side.
Mathias Kvistgaarden has exploded this season and is the top goalscorer in Danish football. However it seems that this summer will see the player sold as Brondby cash in on their biggest asset for a record fee.

According to Tipsbladet’s information, Brøndby has a price tag of around 13 million euros, the famous 100 million kroner, on the player that call The Bomber.
Last summer, Tipsbladet was able to reveal that Brøndby received a German bid of more than 50 million kroner for Mathias Kvistgaarden. There is no mention of a Celtic bid in the report from last summer, but the clear indication is that Celtic did bid for the Brondby striker in January.

Now the situation is drawing to conclusion with a transfer for much more money that the offers submitted last summer. Will that be to Eintracht Frankfurt or perhaps to Celtic?
Michael Nicholson had had a great week as Celtic CEO. Making his move for Mathias Kvistgaarden sooner rather than later is surely the smart call?
