We’re not going to sugarcoat it, indeed, when do we ever at Ibrox Noise?
It is now awaiting the inevitable announcement that Rangers manager Philippe Clement has been relieved of his duties at Ibrox and is no longer boss in Govan.
Rangers supporters are now eagerly awaiting this news, hoping to goodness the Belgian will depart imminently, after yet another hopeless 90 minutes in which Ibrox Noise noted the former Genk chief looking a broken man for the first time.
He looked, for the first time, like he realised this isn’t going to work, and was now awaiting the club to free him of his burden.
We are humans, and don’t want to see the guy going through this nightmare any longer – he’s way out of his depth, and has been for a long time, something Ibrox Noise called but few agreed with a long time ago.
Times have changed, and there is now little-to-no support for the current Rangers boss in the fanbase.
The question is how the club does it – someone either digs deep and pays his contract off, or a mutual consent is agreed. It’s going to cost, unless he resigns, and Clement isn’t going to resign.
So fans now await the inevitable.
The question is how it happens.
